About the Big Heart Brigade
The Big Heart Brigade began in 1992 when two businessmen along with local residents decided to enhance their community and truly make a difference. The joy of giving has inspired others over the years with civil servants, community leaders and other citizens getting involved with hands on community service. One hundred percent of all the proceeds raised goes directly to the Big Heart Brigade's community initiatives. The organization's motto - "Coming to the Rescue" - represents the purpose behind building a supportive community with the warmth of giving and the hope for a better tomorrow.
The Big Heart Brigade was formed on a promise, a goal, a seemingly impossible mission. We are your neighbors. We are your friends, colleagues and family. We are volunteers who with your help, will bring together a community.
Big Heart Brigade is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the Southeast Florida region. Our mission is to enrich the lives of those in need by providing a holiday meal and much needed support to our community. On Thanksgiving in 2011, the Big Heart Brigade, along with over 5,000 volunteers, fed over 100,000 people. With a goal to feed more this year, our dedicated team of individuals is working harder than ever to achieve an extraordinary feat.
We thank you and all our fellow citizens for the continued support and assistance! |
